Topics for courses in each of the program areas 

We have outlined Core Learning Outcomes for each program area and, based on those outcomes, we have proposed topics for curriculum (at the Emerging Level.) 

These suggested topics aren’t modules or courses – they could be shaped into modules that are then put together into courses. 

Topics for curriculum are at the Emerging Level. Different topics for courses will be identified at the Developing and Advanced Levels. 

You can review the proposed topics in this material before responding to the questions. 

1.    What are your initial thoughts or reactions about these topics for courses? 

2.    How well do these topics present an inclusive learning pathway for diverse learners? What should we change or adjust? 

3.    When you consider the Emerging Level of competency, what would you add or change to the topics for curriculum?
